About Barons Court

Barons Court in west Kensington takes its name from the Underground station that opened in 1874 on land owned by Sir William Palliser, an Irish-born politician and landowner; it is thought the name nods to Palliser's connections with the Baronscourt estate in County Tyrone. Palliser shaped much of the surrounding streetscape, with roads including Palliser, Perham, Charleville and Comeragh named after his family and associates, and he also owned the land later developed as Queen's Club. Today the area combines Victorian terraces with mansion blocks, served by both the District and Piccadilly Underground lines. Nearby Margravine Cemetery adds a quieter, green corner to a district that remains well connected to central London.

Barons Court is in our Standard Delivery area (W14 postcodes) — same-day from £14.95 when you order before 1pm, or next-day from £6.95.
